A couple on their wedding day

For American and British couples marrying in France

Your wedding in France, planned by someone who's actually here.

You're planning the most important day of your life from across an ocean or across the Channel, in a language you don't speak, with prices that keep growing and people you've never met. It's easy to feel it slipping out of your hands. I'm here to make sure it stays yours.

One thing worth knowing early

Before you fall for a venue, let's talk about what it actually costs.

French venues often price the building and nothing else. Catering, marquee, and staff are added later. It isn't a trick; it is simply how pricing works here, and it catches almost every couple off guard.

Dry-hire venue · 80 guests

€53–101k

Once catering, marquee, and staff are added.

All-inclusive · 80 guests

€35–58k

The same wedding, priced as a whole.

What I take off your hands

What keeps couples up at night, and what I do about it.

i.

The number, upfront.

I build your budget honestly from our first conversation and translate what every French quote actually includes, so nothing surprises you later.

ii.

France, without the guesswork.

The legal pathway, contracts, and vendors are handled in French, on your behalf, while you plan from home on your own schedule.

iii.

A day that stays yours.

I coordinate every detail and protect what you actually want, from the first idea to the last dance, so the only thing left for you to do is show up.

The difference

Planning from home, or with someone who's here.

Planning from home

  • Choosing a venue from photographs
  • Decoding quotes through translation tools
  • A planner who flies in the week of the wedding
  • Coordinators who know only their own venue

With Lemon & Hazel

  • Every venue I recommend, I have stood inside and cost-modelled
  • Every French contract handled on your behalf
  • Your vendors met in person, month after month
  • One person leading the whole weekend, Friday to Sunday brunch

Is this for you?

Who I work with.

I accept only a small number of weddings each year — usually no more than four or five — so fit matters to both of us.

This is for you if

  • You're planning a symbolic ceremony in France, usually 12–18 months out
  • You're hosting 50–150 guests, many flying from the U.S. or UK
  • Your typical all-in budget is €50,000–€100,000
  • You know what you want, and need someone who will protect it

This probably isn't for you if

  • The lowest price matters more than anything else
  • You'd prefer someone to make every decision in your place

If that's the case, I'll gladly point you toward a team built for it.

The complete accompaniment

Full Accompaniment — from first call to Sunday brunch

7 venues pre-vetted and cost-modelled before you travel. You visit 3–4 in one day. Every vendor met in person, every French contract handled. A named day-of coordinator confirmed in your first planning phase.

From €6,000 · 8% of your confirmed supplier costs, explained on your first call.

I lead every wedding myself. Your day-of coordinator — me, or a partner I work beside — is confirmed in the first planning phase, so you know exactly who will be running your day before you sign anything.

What I do

From first call to final toast.

The full process →
  1. Step 01

    The first conversation

I listen before I propose: how you live, what you won't compromise on, and what you already dislike.

  2. Step 02

    The foundations

The legal pathway, real budget, guest list, region, and season are settled before any beautiful work begins.

  3. Step 03

    Reading the venue

I stand inside each space and read what it asks of you and what it can hold, before the mood board, not after.

  4. Step 04

    The design

I shape the ceremony and design around the two of you, not around Pinterest.

  5. Step 05

    The weekend

Vendors, contracts, and your named coordinator on the day are handled so that nothing reaches you.

Venues I've personally chosen

Places I've stood inside myself.

I visit, photograph, and choose each venue for one reason: how it makes a couple feel when they cross the threshold. New venues are added throughout the year.

Why I do this

“On my own wedding day, someone else's wishes took the day over, gently and completely.”

No one stood beside me to say “this will cost you something, let's talk about it.”

I grew up between Moldova, Romania, Canada, and France, trained as an interior designer, and learned to read a place and its invisible codes.

Today I plan for American and British couples trusting someone far from home with one of the most important days of their lives. My job is to be the person on the ground who makes sure it stays theirs.
